SLICE was a project with a script that I immediately fell in love with - the poetic nature of the storytelling, the abstract qualities, the examination of generational trauma in this very unique, queer way drew me in. The story was both non-narrative and had elements of magical realism - so it it was important to have multiple different world stylistically, and to make each one feel like it was a different exploration of the main character’s inner world.
